She wrote in her caption that she learned a valuable lesson from Shah Rukh Khan almost 18 years ago while filming her first movie, Om Shanti Om. “The first lesson he taught me almost 18 years ago while filming Om Shanti Om was that the people you work with and the experience of making a movie are much more important than its success.” I couldn’t agree more, and I’ve used that lesson to make every decision I’ve made since then. Many fans thought the message was “salty,” and it said, “A film like Kalki 2898 AD deserves that commitment and much more.” We wish her the best in her future projects. Sources say the breakup was because of a schedule dispute with another of her movies, but the actress’s vague statement makes it sound like there was a bigger problem with “commitment.”
A New Powerhouse Duo King is the sixth movie that Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan have worked on together. They have also worked together on Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan. Siddharth Anand directed the movie, which is the same person who directed their last big hit, Pathaan. Suhana Khan will also star in the movie, which is her first acting role.
