Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) [India], February 21: Actor Darshan Kumaar, known for his role in The Kashmir Files, visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to offer prayers and partake in the sacred Bhasma Aarti. The actor, dressed in traditional attire, arrived early in the morning during the Brahma Muhurta, a time considered highly auspicious for spiritual practices. He was seen deeply immersed in the temple’s spiritual ambiance as he participated in the revered ritual, which takes place between 3:30 and 5:30 am.

The Bhasma Aarti is a significant ritual at Mahakaleshwar Temple, where offerings are made using ashes, and it is believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees. Lord Shiva, referred to as Mahakal, is revered as beyond time, eternal, and indestructible in Hindu beliefs.
On the professional front, Darshan Kumaar recently starred in The Kashmir Files, a film directed by Vivek Agnihotri that chronicles the struggles and trauma faced by Kashmiri Pandits during the 1990 insurgency. He also appeared in Kaagaz 2, a courtroom drama where he shared screen space with Anupam Kher.
Darshan will return to the popular series Aashram in its next installment, Ek Badnaam Aashram Season 3 – Part 2, where he stars alongside Bobby Deol, reprising his role as Baba Nirala. Directed by Prakash Jha, the series will be available for streaming on MX Player from February 27.
