Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor has been accused of sending unsolicited explicit images to American rapper Azealia Banks, along with alleged threats aimed at keeping her silent. The controversy erupted after Banks posted screenshots of her alleged private chats with McGregor in the comments of one of her posts on X (formerly Twitter), accusing the UFC star of violating her consent.
“How you gonna send a b*h some crooked dk pics then threaten her not to tell. Ngga do you know who the f**k I am? This is HARAM,” Banks wrote.
In another post, she added:
“Like how are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer d**k then threaten me not to tell???? Honey…… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland?”
Banks did not indicate whether she plans to pursue legal action, but claimed McGregor had later deleted the explicit photos and unfollowed her on social media.
📢 McGregor Responds — Kind Of
Despite the gravity of the accusations, McGregor’s first public response was cryptic and seemingly unrelated. He simply posted:
“Happy birthday to me!”
The remark, made on July 14—his birthday—sparked confusion and criticism across social media. Some interpreted it as sarcasm in the face of the allegations, while others saw it as an intentional distraction.
🎯 Pattern of Allegations
This is not the first time McGregor has faced sexual misconduct allegations:
- He previously paid $233,326 in fines to a woman in Ireland who accused him of rape.
- He is currently facing an ongoing case in the U.S. over an alleged sexual assault at Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
As of now, no formal charges have been announced in connection with Banks’ accusations.
The situation continues to unfold as public scrutiny grows, especially around McGregor’s past behavior and the lack of an appropriate public statement addressing the current controversy.
