London [UK], February 17: At the 78th edition of the prestigious BAFTA Awards, Conclave triumphed by winning the coveted Outstanding British Film title. The film, which earned an impressive 12 nominations across various categories, including Best Film, Director, Adapted Screenplay, Actor, and Casting, made a significant impact at the gala.
Adapted from Robert Harris’s novel, the screenplay was written by Peter Straughan. The star-studded cast features Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow, Lucian Msamati, Brian F. O’Byrne, Carlos Diehz, Merab Ninidze, Thomas Loibl, Sergio Castellitto, and Isabella Rossellini. The film is produced by Tessa Ross, Juliette Howell, Michael A.
