While interacting with the cast of De De Pyaar De 2, including Ajay Devgn, Pranit outright denied ever cracking jokes about the senior actor, a claim that the internet was quick to prove false.
The Confrontation and Denial
The incident occurred when Ajay Devgn asked Pranit, “Have you cracked joke on me too?” Pranit’s immediate response was a firm denial: “No, sir I have not cracked a joke on you, aapko maanta hoon bahut [I respect you a lot].” This statement left host Salman Khan visibly stunned, given Pranit’s previous history, including an earlier confrontation with Salman himself over jokes made about him.
The Internet Proves Him Wrong
Almost immediately following the episode, social media users shared clips of Pranit More’s past comedy gigs, specifically a routine where he satirized Ajay Devgn’s dancing abilities.
In the unearthed video, Pranit jokes about a new viral song, Pehla Tu Dooja Tu, and compares Devgn’s simple style to more complex dancers like Hrithik Roshan and Shahid Kapoor:
“Everyone is jealous of Ajay Devgn, his USP is, he does a simple step and it goes viral… But his most viral step is (he referred to his Rajnigandha advertisement).”
Pranit More’s Bigg Boss Journey
Pranit’s stint in the Bigg Boss house has been eventful. He was initially pulled up by Salman Khan during the first Weekend Ka Vaar for joking about the host (“Tumhare ghar merese hi chalta hai kya?”). Despite this, he reportedly won over the audience with his humor and willingness to take a stand.
After a brief exit due to medical complications, Pranit returned and recently secured his spot among the top 10 contestants fighting for the trophy by making a strategic move to save Ashnoor Kaur over Abhishek Bajaj from eviction.
