Colton Dunn, Hayley Magnus, Andrew Lopez Join Will Ferrell and Zac Efron in Comedy ‘Judgment Day’

Washington [US], May 13: Actors Colton Dunn, Hayley Magnus, and Andrew Lopez have officially joined the cast of the upcoming comedy film Judgment Day, directed and written by Nicholas Stoller. They will appear alongside leading stars Will Ferrell and Zac Efron, as reported by Deadline.

Plot details remain largely under wraps, but the story centers around a young ex-convict (played by Efron) who storms a reality TV courtroom, blaming the judge (Ferrell) for a past ruling that he claims destroyed his life.

The ensemble cast also features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jimmy Tatro, Michael Peña, Bill Camp, Billy Eichner, Fortune Feimster, Heidi Gardner, Rachel Hilson, Tyler Lofton, Rory Scovel, Bobby Ray, Bobby Cannavale, and Regina Hall.

The film is being produced by Stoller through Stoller Global Solutions, along with Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown via Gloria Sanchez Productions.

Colton Dunn, recently seen in Netflix’s The Recruit, is known for roles in Blockers, Grand Crew, Parks and Recreation, The League, and History of the World, Part II. Hayley Magnus appeared in Season 2 of Apple TV+’s Loot. Andrew Lopez, also a music director, recently acted in Stoller’s Apple TV+ series Platonic and FX’s award-winning show The Bear.

Regina Hall, another key member of the cast, will appear in Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming project One Battle After Another opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as in Searchlight Pictures’ original rock opera O’Dessa. Hall gained critical acclaim for her performance in Andrew Bujalski’s Support the Girls, for which she became the first Black actress to win the New York Film Critics Circle award for Best Actress.

Nicholas Stoller is best known for directing films such as Bros, Neighbors, Neighbors 2, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He also co-created Platonic, which stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne, and has been renewed for a second season on Apple TV+.
