Washington DC [US], April 9— Fan-favorite romantic comedy Colin From Accounts is officially coming back for a third season on Paramount+, as reported by Variety. The series, led by real-life couple Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, has begun pre-production for the new installment, with both stars returning as lead actors, writers, and executive producers.
“We’re VERY excited to bring you season three of our show. To be honest, with the way we ended season two, it would have been weird not to make a third, so here we are,” the duo said in a joint statement to Variety. “We promise we won’t leave you hanging like that again. Probably.”
The announcement follows an Instagram post by Harriet Dyer where she shared behind-the-scenes images and hinted that the writing team is already deep into brainstorming. “It’s officially green lit so now we just have to write it,” she wrote. “Shouldn’t be too difficult — got some pretty solid starting points.
Colin From Accounts originally premiered in 2022 and quickly gained a devoted following. Its second season aired in 2024 and, like the first, earned a perfect 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, according to Variety.
The series is praised for its witty and authentic take on modern relationships, described as “a romantic comedy about flawed, funny people choosing each other and embracing the all-too-relatable chaos of modern life.”
In addition to Brammall and Dyer, the ensemble cast features Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson, Darren Gilshenan, Annie Maynard, Tai Hara, and Glenn Hazeldine. The show also includes appearances from Celeste Barber, Virginia Gay, Justin Rosniak, John Howard, Lynne Porteus, and Broden Kelly.
Executive producers for the upcoming season include Alison Hurbert-Burns, Lana Greenhalgh, Trent O’Donnell, Rob Gibson, and Ian Collie. Kevin Greene will serve as producer.
With fan expectations high after Season 2’s cliffhanger ending, Colin From Accounts Season 3 is already one of the most anticipated returns on Paramount+.
