Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting in the War Room at his official residence, 5 Kalidas Marg, in the early hours of Wednesday to oversee arrangements for the Magh Purnima Snan Parv in Prayagraj.
Accompanied by Director General of Police (DGP), Principal Secretary Home, and officials from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, CM Yogi closely monitored live updates on television and issued real-time instructions to ensure a smooth and organized event, according to an official release.
This approach follows his previous monitoring of the Basant Panchami Amrit Snan, where he similarly conducted a war room meeting from 3:30 a.m. to ensure effective coordination.
The Chief Minister assessed security, logistical arrangements, and infrastructure preparedness to ensure that devotees faced no difficulties and were provided with the best possible facilities.
CM Yogi also reviewed live footage of crowd movement, administrative coordination, and facilities at key locations, including Mahakumbh Nagar. He directed officials to enforce strict security measures at bathing sites and ensure seamless traffic management for the convenience of devotees.
Stressing the importance of administrative preparedness, he emphasized the need for enhanced security and smooth execution of arrangements at Triveni Sangam, where millions of pilgrims gathered for the holy dip.
