Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has expressed confidence that India will achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. He also emphasized that the country is on track to emerge as the world’s third-largest economy by 2029.
Speaking at an event in Rohtak, Saini stated, “Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India will succeed in becoming a developed nation by 2047 and is on fast track to emerge as the world’s third-largest economy by 2029.”
He highlighted that the recently presented Union Budget will play a crucial role in empowering four key pillars of a developed India: the poor, youth, farmers, and women.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while inaugurating a machining center and a mammography bus at LPS Bossard in Kharawar village, Rohtak district. Before the inauguration, he visited the machining center, industrial unit, and corporate office of LPS Bossard.
Healthcare and Social Welfare Initiatives
During the event, Saini praised LPS Bossard for its initiatives in public healthcare, mentioning that the company operates two buses for blood donation and general health checkups. The newly launched mammography bus will provide breast cancer screening for women, ensuring early detection and access to treatment.
He also reiterated the government’s commitment to housing for the underprivileged, stating that “Efforts are being made to fulfill the dream of every poor person in the country of having a home. Over the past 10 years, four crore eligible poor families have been provided with houses, and future targets have been set to continue this progress.” He assured that all 77,000 eligible applicants from Haryana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will receive financial support.
Support for Farmers and Women Entrepreneurs
Saini highlighted Haryana’s achievements in the agricultural sector, stating, “Haryana is the first state in the country to purchase 100 percent of farmers’ crops at the minimum support price.” He also underscored efforts to empower women entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and initiatives like ‘Drone Didis’ and ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’, which aims to create 5,000 successful women entrepreneurs, with over 1,500 women already achieving this milestone.
Education and Employment for Youth
The Chief Minister assured that equal development is being ensured across all regions of the state. He announced that the state government has set a policy to establish a government college every 20 km to promote girls’ education, leading to the creation of 79 government colleges, including 32 exclusively for women.
“As a result of the government’s policies, youth interest in education has grown, and they are now preparing for competitive exams with great enthusiasm. The government is providing employment opportunities based on merit, without any expense or slip,” Saini said. He further announced that in the next five years, the government aims to provide jobs to 2 lakh youth based on merit.
The event was attended by LPS Bossard Managing Director Raje Jain, former Minister Mani Grover, and other dignitaries.
