Marking a significant political milestone, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11 years in office, calling it a period of transformative governance, inclusive development, and national resurgence.
In a post on social media platform X, CM Gupta wrote:
“11 years of people-based development. This is India’s journey of transformation—a strong and firm step towards a developed India.”
Gupta highlighted the far-reaching impact of PM Modi’s welfare and empowerment schemes, especially on the rural and economically weaker segments.
“Facilities reached every poor, development reached every village. From farmers’ fields to soldiers at the borders—every hand got strength, every dream got wings,” she said.
A Decade of Visionary Initiatives
Gupta credited the Modi-led government for strategic programs that have redefined India’s developmental landscape, including:
- Digital India & JAM Trinity – pushing direct, transparent service delivery
- Make in India & Startup India – bolstering entrepreneurship and manufacturing
- Gaganyaan Mission – propelling India into the next frontier of space technology
- Women Empowerment & Youth Employment – fostering inclusive growth
“From Digital India to Gaganyaan—this was the decade that took India towards self-reliance and global leadership,” she remarked.
Mass Movement for a New India
Gupta further said that the transformation witnessed under PM Modi’s leadership was no longer limited to policy—but had become a mass movement.
“Now, this change has become a resolution… This is not a turning point—this is history in the making. The construction of a new India has begun, and being a part of it is no longer an option, but a duty.”

To commemorate this occasion, the Union government released a detailed e-book capturing achievements across 14 key policy domains, ranging from foreign policy to education, environment, defence, and digital innovation.
