In a post shared on social media platform X, CM Dhami wrote,
“The way India has strengthened and modernised its defence capabilities in the last 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no less than a revolution. It is the story of an era shaped by decisive policies prioritising national security.”
Dhami credited the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism and Naxalism for forcing hostile forces to retreat, describing Operation Sindoor as a global example of India’s assertive military stance.
“Bold operations like Operation Sindoor reflected India’s new military policy, where those promoting terror were given a befitting reply on their own ground,” he stated.
He further emphasized that Make in India has transformed India from a defence importer into an exporter, sharing that India exported defence equipment worth ₹23,622 crore in 2024–25, up from ₹1,940 crore in 2014–15. He also highlighted INS Vikrant—India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier—as a symbol of this transformation.
Speaking at the general assembly and executive committee meeting of the Uttarakhand Bhasha Sansthan, CM Dhami expressed gratitude to PM Modi, celebrating “11 years of service, good governance, and welfare of the poor.” He noted that 27 crore people have risen above the poverty line during this time, and the poverty rate has dropped more than fivefold.
He also spotlighted flagship central schemes such as the Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, and Jal Jeevan Mission as pivotal to uplifting the underprivileged.
