Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 16: Ahead of the seventh edition of the Regional Industry Conclave, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, his government is committed to doubling the state’s economy.
The event, set to take place at the University Institute of Technology (UIT) in Shahdol on Thursday, aims to foster regional industries through collaboration and cooperation.
“I am pleased that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, our country is advancing, and we have resolved to double the economy of Madhya Pradesh. Today, I am attending the Regional Industry Conclave in Shahdol, which will bring together a wide array of investors and new proposals across various sectors, including tourism, health, mining, heavy industries, and MSMEs,” said CM Yadav.
He also noted that ongoing projects under previous investment MoUs would continue, with over Rs 4 lakh crore in investment proposals received from the six previous conclaves. These proposals are expected to create over 3 lakh new jobs.
“We are confident that Madhya Pradesh will soon establish itself as an economically strong state, gaining a unique identity. I also extend my greetings to the people of the state and look forward to the upcoming Global Investor Summit in February, which we expect to set new records,” he added.
The seventh edition of the Regional Industry Conclave will see participation from around 4,000 attendees, including over 2,000 industrialists. The event will feature policy dialogues, innovations, and one-on-one discussions between CM Yadav and top industrialists. Additionally, 28 industrial units will be inaugurated and have Bhoomi Pujan performed by the Chief Minister.
The conclaves serve as pre-events for the “Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025,” aimed at positioning Madhya Pradesh as a top investment destination by showcasing its abundant resources, industrial environment, and potential for growth.
The Regional Industry Conclave series began in Ujjain in March 2024, followed by events in Jabalpur, Gwalior, Sagar, Rewa, and Narmadapuram.
