Participating in a Rudrabhishek programme in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted India’s growing respect on the global stage and emphasized cultural pride by stating that replicas of the Taj Mahal are no longer necessary as gifts to foreign guests.
“India has gained respect on the international level, and it feels good that we don’t have to give the Taj Mahal (replica) to foreign guests anymore. We gift them the Geeta, Ramayan, Mahabharat, the holy texts of Sanatan Dharma,” Yadav said while addressing a gathering in Jarrapur village under Budhni Tehsil.
The Chief Minister also assured saints that the government would provide permanent spaces in Ujjain for constructing Dharamshalas, halls for religious gatherings, and other infrastructure for religious purposes. He added that the government would grant “legal permission” for these initiatives.
Focus on Industrial and Technological Growth
Earlier on Saturday, Yadav performed the bhoomi pujan for an IT Park project worth ₹46 crore in Ujjain, reiterating the state’s commitment to fostering industrial and technological advancements.
Sharing the development on social media, the Chief Minister wrote, “Our endeavour is to pave the way for industrial development by creating favourable conditions for investment in Madhya Pradesh, along with promoting technology and innovation through entrepreneurship, thereby increasing employment opportunities in the field of technology.”
Promoting Investments
Speaking at the Yuva Udyami Manch Summit 2024, the Chief Minister underlined his government’s efforts to attract investments.
“Ever since our government was formed, we have made efforts to encourage investments by ensuring that our investor summits are accessible even at the smallest levels. In metros, we organized roadshows to promote the businesses of Madhya Pradesh,” he said.
The state government’s dual focus on preserving cultural heritage and promoting industrial growth aims to strike a balance between tradition and modernity while boosting economic opportunities.
