CM Atishi Asserts Delhi’s Strong Faith In Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi [India], December 22: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi reaffirmed that the people of Delhi continue to place their trust in Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, promising to address the city’s challenges as the 2025 Assembly elections approach.

1. Faith in Kejriwal’s Leadership: Atishi stated that the citizens of Delhi remain confident in the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal and his ability to solve the city’s problems, with the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections expected in 2025.
2. Scrutiny of Arvind Kejriwal: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is currently under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinai Kumar Saxena granted approval for prosecution in the liquor policy case.
3. AAP Government’s Response to City Issues: Atishi thanked the Delhi LG for bringing attention to the issue and urged the LG to keep the AAP-led Delhi government informed about any concerns in the city. She emphasized that the government would address all problems faced by Delhi residents.
4. Visit to Rangpuri Pahari Area: During her visit to Rangpuri Pahari, Atishi interacted with locals and assured them that under Kejriwal’s leadership, the Delhi government is committed to resolving their issues.
5. Political Developments Ahead of Elections: The Delhi BJP announced its State Election Committee for the 2025 elections, though the party has yet to release its list of candidates. In contrast, AAP has already unveiled its list of candidates.
6. BJP Leaders Joining AAP: BJP leader Ramesh Pehalwan and his wife Kusumlata Ramesh joined AAP on December 15. Arvind Kejriwal welcomed the couple into the party, signaling political shifts ahead of the polls.
7. Previous Election Results: In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, AAP won a commanding 62 out of 70 seats, with BJP securing only eight seats. The next Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled for early 2025.
