Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 7:
A grand passing-out parade was held at the National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), CISF, Hakimpet, Hyderabad, marking the successful completion of training for the 49th batch of Sub-Inspector trainees. A total of 347 officers, including 42 women, were inducted into the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) following a rigorous and comprehensive training program.
Inspector General of CISF Central Sector, Nilima Rani Singh, presided over the event as the Chief Guest. In her address, she applauded the trainees’ discipline, commitment, and professionalism. She urged the new officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, courage, and public service as they begin their operational duties.
The ceremony was graced by senior CISF officials, civil and police dignitaries, stakeholders, and proud families of the graduating officers.
The batch consisted of 305 male and 42 female Sub-Inspectors who underwent extensive training covering both indoor and outdoor modules. Their curriculum included key subjects such as Industrial Security Management, Aviation Security, Disaster Management, VIP Protection, Leadership and Soft Skills, Urban Operations, Jungle Warfare, and advanced weapon handling.
Outstanding performers from the batch were honoured during the ceremony:
- All-Round Best & Best in Indoor Training: SI Vanshika Tyagi
- Best in Outdoor Training: SI Dinesh
- Best in Firing: SI Neeraj Baghel
This batch was trained using the Competency-Based Training (CBT) model—an advanced, outcome-driven approach designed to prepare officers for complex, real-world security scenarios. The adoption of CBT underscores NISA’s evolving methodology and commitment to operational excellence.
NISA’s training standards have received multiple accolades over the years, including:
- National Award for Excellence in Training (2016) by DoPT
- F.I.S.T Award (2017) by Fire and Safety Association of India
- Union Home Minister’s Trophy for Best Training Institute (2017 & 2020) among CAPFs
- Accreditation as a “UTKRISHT” Institution (2024) by NSCSTI
- Recognition as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in Industrial Security by the Government of India
