Chiranjeevi Shares Health Update on Pawan Kalyan’s Son After Singapore School Fire

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], April 10: Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi has provided a heartfelt health update regarding his nephew, Mark Shankar, the son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The young boy was injured in a recent school fire incident in Singapore.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, Chiranjeevi shared that Mark Shankar has now returned home but is still in the recovery phase. Expressing gratitude, he said, “Our baby Mark Shankar has come home, but he still needs to recover. With the grace and mercy of our clan deity, Anjaneya Swamy, he will soon be fully healthy and back to normal.”

Highlighting the significance of Hanuman Jayanti, which falls tomorrow, Chiranjeevi added, “That Lord stood by us, saving this little child from great danger and tragedy. People from various towns and communities have shown immense support and prayed for his recovery. On behalf of myself, my younger brother Kalyan Babu @PawanKalyan, and our entire family, we would like to thank you all.”

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party issued a statement confirming that the fire caused injuries to Mark’s hands and legs. He was immediately admitted to a local hospital in Singapore and is under medical care.

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, also reacted to the tragic incident. In a message shared on X, he expressed concern and offered prayers for the safety of all students involved. “Shocked to learn about the fire accident at a school in Singapore where the son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Shri @PawanKalyan Garu, Mark Shankar, studies. Praying to Ammavaru for the safety and well-being of all the children and hoping Mark Shankar is safe and well,” he wrote.
