Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Reviews Samadhan Camps In Kawardha, Highlights Success In Addressing Public Grievances

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday visited Kawardha town in Kabirdham district to review the progress of the “Samadhan Shivir” (Samadhan Camps), a key initiative aimed at resolving public grievances and ensuring the effective implementation of government schemes.

During his interaction with local residents, CM Sai personally inquired whether government schemes were reaching the people as intended. The initiative reflects his administration’s efforts to ensure last-mile delivery of services and to identify areas that need further intervention.

“From 8-11 April, our officers have gone to different places among the people and wrote applications of their problems and about 40 lakh applications have come in 35 districts in the entire state and the second phase was from 12 April to 4 May, our officers have solved the problems. In most places, more than half of the problems have been solved, and the third phase started on May 5, in which 8 or 10 clusters are being formed at different places, and Samadhan camps are being organised there… From yesterday, we have also come out and are meeting people and asking them whether all the schemes are reaching them or not…,” said the Chhattisgarh CM.

The Samadhan initiative has been rolled out in three distinct phases:

  • Phase 1 (April 8–11): Government officers visited various locations, gathered feedback, and collected around 40 lakh applications across 35 districts.
  • Phase 2 (April 12–May 4): Authorities worked actively to address the problems, resolving more than half of the submitted cases in most areas.
  • Phase 3 (began May 5): Camps are now being set up in 8–10 clusters to address remaining grievances on the ground.

In addition to Kabirdham, the Samadhan Shivir program has witnessed notable success in Bastar district, particularly in Jagdalpur, where the initiative was conducted across 13–14 Gram Panchayats. More than 4,000 applications were addressed, with approximately 85% of the cases resolved on the spot. Many of these issues were related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

The Samadhan Shivir initiative stands as a strong example of the Chhattisgarh government’s focus on responsive governance and public service delivery.
