It looks like the very public fight between U.S. President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk has come to a peaceful end. The two men were spotted together at the memorial service for far-right activist Charlie Kirk. The reunion on September 21 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, was a touching scene that brought back Kirk’s own public wish for the two to make up.
The fight started after Musk left Trump’s office, mostly because Musk spoke out against what he called the “Big, Beautiful Bill.” But any bad feelings that were still there seemed to go away at the memorial. At first, Musk was sitting by himself, but later he was observed moving to join the President’s group, which included Dana White, the CEO of UFC. After then, the two were spotted talking for a short while. The White House’s official Rapid Response 47 account later shared a picture of the two guys together with the message “For Charlie.”
A Dream Come True
The apparent reconciliation has brought up things Charlie Kirk said while the fight was going on. Kirk said on The Ingraham Angle that he thought they will eventually make up. “I really think they’re going to work things out at some point, though, because I want to believe they both want the same thing,” he said.
Kirk also applauded both men for what they did, saying it was “unfortunate” to see them fight in public. He said that Musk “liberat[ed] speech” by buying Twitter (now X) and praised Trump for developing “the most amazing political movement we’ve ever seen” even though he was under a lot of strain. In a post on X, Kirk also talked about his aspirations for a cease-fire.
The Daily Mail said that a lip-reader said that the chat at the memorial was a step toward reconciliation. Trump is believed to have told Musk, “Let’s try to figure out how to get BACK on track,” and Musk nodded. The President then reportedly said, “I missed you.” Kirk’s followers have liked the reunion, even though these exact statements haven’t been confirmed. Many people said on social media that “Charlie is still working from heaven,” and another person said, “Miracles are happening.” This is one of them. Charlie is alive.
People see the meeting of these two prominent and important people at an event commemorating their mutual friend and ally as an appropriate tribute to a guy who supported their efforts to the conservative movement.
