Chandrababu Naidu Proposes Three-State Sub-Groups at NITI Aayog Meet to Accelerate Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision

New Delhi, May 24: At the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog held at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu proposed the creation of three focused sub-groups of states to accelerate India’s journey toward becoming a developed nation by 2047.

The meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, brought together Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors, Union Ministers, and senior officials to deliberate on the theme “Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat @2047”—a roadmap to a prosperous, inclusive, and future-ready India.

According to an official statement by the Andhra Pradesh government, CM Naidu’s proposal includes:

  1. A Sub-Group on GDP Growth
Focused on boosting investments, manufacturing, exports, and employment. It recommends central Viability Gap Funding for PPP projects to spur infrastructure and industrial development.
  2. A Sub-Group on Population Management
Aims to harness India’s demographic dividend while addressing future concerns such as population ageing and declining fertility rates.
  3. A Sub-Group on Technology-Driven Governance
Will focus on leveraging emerging technologies like AI, quantum computing, drones, and digital platforms for real-time, citizen-centric administration.

Prime Minister Modi reportedly praised Andhra Pradesh’s development roadmap and reforms during the meeting. As per the state government’s release
