Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday unveiled its new team of office bearers for the Chandigarh unit after receiving approval from national president JP Nadda.
State BJP chief Jitender Pal Malhotra made the much-awaited announcement, appointing Rambir Bhatti and Sanjeev Rana as the two general secretaries, while Pradeep Kumar Bansal will serve as the treasurer. Avi Bhasin has been named joint treasurer, and Dhirendra Tayal takes over as the chief spokesperson.

Additional Roles:
- Office Secretaries: Deepak Malhotra and Sanjay Puri

These appointments, which had been pending since Jitender Pal Malhotra was reappointed as the Chandigarh BJP president in January 2025, mark a major organisational refresh for the party’s city unit.
