Dr. Bhojraj’s main point is that “rhythm and consistency, not hacks,” are what lead to long life and real health. He says not to follow trends without thinking about them first, and instead, he tells individuals to live a balanced existence.

Dr. Bhojraj warns about these three trends:

  1. Chasing biohacking gadgets without thinking: Dr. Bhojraj says that fitness trackers and health panels are merely instruments that can give you useful information. He said, “They don’t change outcomes without context.” He says that having data is only helpful if you know how to read it and apply it to make real changes to your life.
  2. Fiber-Maxxing Without Balance: The cardiologist agrees that fiber is an important part of a balanced diet, but he warns against the popular practice of “fiber-maxxing,” which is eating too much fiber too quickly through foods like chia seeds, beans, and powders. He says that this can put stress on the digestive system without giving the heart any further benefits. It’s always best to do things slowly and in a balanced way.
  3. Detoxes and Cleanses: Dr. Bhojraj said that these popular “resets” don’t always work. He pointed out that our bodies have a natural and very effective detox system, with the liver and other organs always striving to get rid of contaminants. He says that too many fasts or cleanses might boost cortisol levels and slow down the body’s natural healing processes. Dr. Bhojraj stresses in his post that our bodies are made to work well on their own and that the best way to stay healthy is to live a balanced life. He says that instead of looking for fast remedies, you should focus on a steady and consistent way to remain healthy.
