Mumbai — A video from the 17th season of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has gone viral, capturing a light-hearted moment between host Amitabh Bachchan and a female contestant. The clip, widely shared on social media, shows the contestant openly admiring the Bollywood superstar’s looks, much to the amusement of the audience and Bachchan himself.
The contestant, sitting across from Bachchan in the hot seat, did not hold back her admiration. “Sir, you are looking very handsome,” she began. She then went a step further, adding, “Sir, I cannot take my eyes off you. And I think you do not need any makeup. Why do the makeup guys come over and do the touch-up?”
In a classic Big B move, the actor responded with his signature wit and charm. He humorously turned to the camera and said, “Yes, you tell this to them, why do they come and bother me like this?”
The clip, shared on the Instagram page ‘kbc_talk,’ quickly became a hit, garnering thousands of likes and comments. Fans flooded the comments section with heart and fire emojis, celebrating the “megastar.”
One user commented, “My grandfather is quite handsome.” Another user, perhaps more mesmerized by the contestant, wrote, “Don’t know about you, but I can’t take my eyes off this woman.”
Some comments were more speculative. One person quipped, “It seems someone will have to sleep without dinner tonight,” in a playful jab at Bachchan’s wife, Jaya Bachchan. Another fan asked for the name of the perfume the actor uses, while another fan expressed disbelief at the contestant’s comments.

Australian Woman Pays ₹18,000 to “Rent a Boyfriend” in Tokyo, Shares Experience on YouTube
The woman, who was single for a year, booked a two-hour date with a hired companion to combat loneliness, sparking conversations about the growing trend of paid companionship.
Tokyo — A woman’s unique approach to tackling loneliness has gone viral after she documented her experience of “renting a boyfriend” in Tokyo on her YouTube channel. Sarah, an Australian woman living alone in the bustling Japanese capital, paid approximately ₹18,000 for a two-hour date with a man she hired through a companionship service.
After being single for more than a year, Sarah was intrigued by a website offering boyfriends for hire. She booked a date with a 26-year-old man named Narumi, whose profile highlighted his interests in fashion, men’s makeup, and motorbikes. The cost of the date was a pricey £150 (about ₹18,000), not including additional expenses, all of which she had to cover.
Before their meeting, Sarah received affectionate text messages from Narumi, who called her “My Honey” and “My Queen,” which she said was “really sweet.” When they met, she was charmed by his style and warm demeanor, even admitting to blushing when he held her hand.
The date was a “dream date,” according to Sarah. The two enjoyed a romantic lunch, where they laughed, shared food, and had heartfelt conversations. During their time together, Narumi revealed that he has been working in this role since January 2024 and goes on about ten dates a month, with clients ranging from university students to married women.
When asked about the deceptive nature of the work, Narumi calmly replied, “It’s a service, not cheating.” He explained that he keeps the job a secret from his family and most friends.
Sarah was so delighted with the experience that she extended the date for another hour, at an additional cost of £74 (about ₹8,800). She told him, “Happiness can be bought with money.” At the end of the date, she asked him to win her a toy at a local fair, telling him, “I don’t want to forget you.”
The video and her story have brought attention to the growing phenomenon of paid companionship in Japan and other countries, where loneliness is an increasing issue.
