New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced 120 vacancies for Senior Executive Trainee (SET) positions under its Direct Recruitment (DR) scheme. The state-run telecom company has released a tentative recruitment notification and invited eligible candidates to apply through its official website — www.bsnl.co.in.
Out of the total vacancies, 95 posts are for the Telecom Stream, and 25 posts are for the Finance Stream, subject to change based on the company’s requirements.
Reservation Policy
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per Government of India norms for direct recruitment.
Salary and Age Limit
- Pay Scale: ₹24,900 – ₹50,500
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Candidates must ensure they meet the age criteria as of the closing date of the online application.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be conducted through a Computer-Based Written Examination, comprising Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions (MCQs).
The examination will assess candidates’ technical knowledge, aptitude, and general awareness, depending on the stream applied for.
Eligibility Criteria
For Telecom Stream:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree or an equivalent engineering qualification with at least 60% marks on a regular full-time basis in one of the following disciplines:
- Electronics and Telecommunications
- Electronics
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
- Or a combination of these disciplines with other emerging branches
For Finance Stream:
Candidates must hold Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) qualifications.
