Los Angeles [US], July 2: New stars are joining the cast of Emily in Paris for its fifth season, with Suits LA actor Bryan Greenberg and acclaimed French actress Michèle Laroque among the latest additions, Variety reported.
Greenberg will take on the pivotal role of Jake, an American living in Paris, adding a fresh dynamic to the series. Meanwhile, Michèle Laroque — known for films like Ma vie en Rose, Brillantissime, and The Closet — will portray Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie Grateau.
The series’ returning cast includes Paul Forman (Nico), Arnaud Binard (Laurent G), as well as previously confirmed leads Lily Collins (Emily Cooper), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Sylvie), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Samuel Arnold (Julien), Bruno Gouery (Luc), William Abadie (Antoine Lambert), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), Eugenio Franceschini (Marcello), and Thalia Besson (Genevieve).
Season 5 began filming in May in Rome before returning to Paris in June. The upcoming season picks up just days after Season 4’s conclusion, following Emily as she settles into her new apartment in Rome, takes charge of Agence Grateau’s Italian office, and deepens her relationship with Marcello, the charismatic heir to a family-owned cashmere empire.
