The event, part of his ‘So Happy It Hurts’ India Tour, was a celebration of over four decades of musical brilliance.
The 65-year-old singer-songwriter captivated the audience during a nearly two-hour set filled with high-energy hits and deeply emotive ballads. The carefully curated setlist featured tracks spanning Adams’ illustrious career, kicking off with ‘Kick-Ass’ from his latest album, So Happy It Hurts.
Fans were treated to a mix of timeless classics like ‘Summer of ’69’, ‘Run to You’, and ‘Can’t Stop This Thing We Started’, alongside heartfelt ballads such as ‘Please Forgive Me’ and ‘All For Love’. The crowd’s energy was infectious, with fans singing along to every lyric, creating an electric atmosphere that perfectly complemented the performance.
Adding a personal touch to the night, Adams included fan-requested songs sourced from online submissions and signs held by audience members. One of the most memorable moments of the evening occurred when he walked through the crowd to serenade fans from the sound console, further strengthening the connection with his audience.
The concert’s production design amplified the experience. A remote-controlled blimp camera added a playful element, while large LED screens showcased the audience’s energy, making them an integral part of the performance. Longtime collaborators Keith Scott (guitarist), Gary Breit (keyboardist), and Pat Steward (drummer) provided exceptional musical backing, perfectly complementing Adams’ powerful vocals.
Reflecting on the show, Bryan Adams shared his excitement, saying, “The energy in Gurugram was electric! The connection with the audience was palpable; it was a truly special night and it felt good to be back performing for all of you after so many years.”
The event was organized by EVA Live, whose founder Deepak Chaudhary highlighted the overwhelming success of the concert. “The show sold out in record time, proving the incredible demand for Bryan Adams in Gurugram. It wasn’t just about ticket sales; it was about creating a truly memorable experience.
