Pop icon Britney Spears has made her return to Instagram following her arrest earlier this month for driving under the influence (DUI) in Ventura, California. On Saturday, the singer posted a video featuring her 19-year-old son, Jayden James, as the two shared a lighthearted moment dancing in front of a mirror. In the clip, Spears can be heard remarking that she is “composed” while enjoying the dance, with Jayden joining in to show off a few Michael Jackson-inspired moves.
Alongside the video, Spears expressed gratitude to her followers for their ongoing support during a challenging month. “Thank you guys for all your support… spending time with family and friends is such a blessing. Stay kind!!!” she captioned, later sharing a similar post to reiterate her message.
The Instagram posts follow an incident on March 4, where the singer was arrested on suspicion of DUI. She was subsequently released on the morning of March 5. Reflecting on the arrest, a representative for Spears described the event as an “unfortunate” and “inexcusable” incident. The representative further emphasized that Spears intends to fully comply with the law and is currently leaning on family and friends for support, stating that this could be a “first step in the long-overdue change that needs to occur” in her life.
Spears, who shares two sons—20-year-old Sean Preston and 19-year-old Jayden James—with her former husband Kevin Federline, appears to be prioritizing family time as she navigates the legal and personal fallout of the arrest.
