Sam Asghari, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, isn’t holding anything when it comes to Kevin Federline’s newest project. The fitness mogul made a rude and sarcastic comment about the former backup dancer’s upcoming tell-all book, bringing the public feud between the pop star’s exes back to life.
A photographer asked Asghari what he thought of Federline’s new memoir in a video that TMZ posted recently. Asghari laughed and said, “Well, he was a professional father,” as they walked along a busy street in West Hollywood. He then added with a smile, “[Federline’s book] would be the first book that tells you how to be a professional father.”
Asghari’s statements come just before the publishing of Federline’s book, “You Thought You Knew,” which is set for October 21. The press release says that the memoir would be “extremely intimate and transparent,” and it will look at his well-known marriage to Spears and his path to becoming a father. Federline, who famously got custody of his two sons with Spears, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and got $20,000 a month in child support, has indicated that the book will talk about the “constant ridicule” he went through.
Sam Asghari met Spears while filming her “Slumber Party” music video. They were married for a little over a year before they broke up in 2024. Even though they are divorced, Asghari has openly supported his ex-wife, especially during her fight for conservatorship. His most recent words show that he still cares about and wants to protect Spears.
As of now, Kevin Federline or anyone who works for him has not publicly responded to Asghari’s comments. The new book and Asghari’s statements have once again brought up Britney Spears’s troubled love life, from her short marriage to Jason Alexander to her very public and ugly divorce from Federline.
