The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared that the first competitive test for the position of Assistant Branch Officer would take place on September 10, 2025. The test will be given at several places in 11 districts of the state. The candidates will take one General Knowledge (Objective) test from 12:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Important Information About the Hiring
This hiring campaign is looking to fill 41 Assistant Branch Officer positions. Pay Level 7 is where the chosen applicants will be placed, and their salaries will range from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400. A lot of people have applied for the job that is listed in Advertisement No. 37/2025.
Requirements for Eligibility
To take the test, candidates had to complete the following requirements by the last day to apply:
Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
Age Limit (as of August 1, 2025):
At least 21 years old
Most:
37 years for men who don’t have any reservations
40 years for candidates from the backward class and severely backward class (both men and women), as well as women who are not reserved
42 years for applicants from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (men and women)
