Varun Dhawan on Natasha Dalal’s Honest Feedback
Varun revealed that Natasha was proud of his performance and encouraged him to keep challenging himself as an actor.
“She was like… vo hamesha bolti hai, ‘I knew it, you always have it in yourself. Bas tumhe khud ko challenge karna hai.’ Abhi yehi hai ki zyada post mat karo, zyada dikho mat. Zyada bolo mat,” Varun said.
Translated, he explained that Natasha told him she always believed in his potential but advised him to stay low-key, not post too much on social media, and not talk excessively. He joked that both Natasha and Sunny Deol’s wife share the same advice—“don’t talk too much.”
Salman Khan’s Support During Troll Phase
Varun also recalled how Salman Khan supported him when he was being trolled before the film’s release. He said Salman called him one night and reassured him that good things were on the way.
“When these things were happening, I got a call from Salman bhai. He was just laughing and told me, ‘good things are about to come.’ That meant a lot to me,” Varun shared.
After Border 2 turned into a major box-office success, Salman called again to congratulate him. “He said, ‘I am proud of you, beta.’ That was a very defining moment for me because he doesn’t praise people easily,” Varun added.
