The much-anticipated war drama Border 2 has officially been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ahead of its theatrical release on January 23. The film has been awarded a UA 13+ certificate, indicating that parental guidance is advised for viewers under 13 due to its intense war sequences and emotional themes.
No Cuts, Full Vision Preserved
In a major boost for the makers, Border 2 has passed the CBFC certification process without any cuts, ensuring that audiences will witness the film exactly as envisioned by its creators.
The certification also confirms the film’s runtime of 3 hours and 16 minutes, placing it firmly in the category of large-scale, immersive war spectacles designed for the big screen.
Strong Advance Booking Signals Box Office Momentum
Despite its extended duration, Border 2 is already generating strong box-office buzz ahead of release. According to trade tracking website Sacnilk, the film has recorded an all-India gross advance booking of Rs 2.68 crore for Day 1.
So far, 83,941 tickets have been sold across 8,469 shows, indicating robust audience interest and strong opening-day prospects.
