Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], April 2: Bollywood’s biggest names gathered under one roof on Tuesday night to celebrate Vivienne Westwood’s first-ever fashion show in India. The glamorous event, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mumbai’s iconic Gateway of India, saw the presence of Kareena Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Aditya Roy Kapur, Mira Rajput, Janhvi Kapoor, and many more.
Dressed in their finest couture, the stars made dazzling appearances. Kareena Kapoor exuded elegance in a wine-colored off-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit, accessorized with diamond rings and statement earrings. Janhvi Kapoor turned heads in an off-shoulder embellished corset top paired with a satin skirt and silver heels, while Aditya Roy Kapur opted for an edgy look in Afghani pants, a matching blazer, and a satin-striped shirt. Mira Kapoor stunned in a multi-hued off-shoulder dress, bringing extra glamour to the red carpet.
The show featured Vivienne Westwood’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection alongside special archive pieces. It also introduced a capsule collection crafted from handwoven Indian silks, Khadi cotton, and wool, sourced from prestigious textile houses such as Khadi India and Aaranya, Gwalior. In collaboration with the Department of Textiles, Maharashtra, Vivz Fashion School, and HSBC India, the event spotlighted India’s rich textile heritage and the artisans dedicated to preserving traditional craftsmanship.
