Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 6: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh celebrated his 40th birthday with an outpouring of love from fans and fellow celebrities. Known for his powerhouse performances and fearless fashion choices, Singh was showered with heartfelt wishes across social media.
Director Karan Johar penned an emotional, poetic tribute on Instagram, praising Singh as a “buoyant spirit” and “a comet streaking through the night.” Sharing a series of stylish photos of the actor, Johar wrote, “A fashionista bold and grand… Yet deeper still, this man unfolds, a heart of gold within he holds.”
Actor Tiger Shroff also joined in, posting a photo from the sets of Singham Again with the message, “Keep smashing it like only you can. Happy day, baller @ranveersingh.”
Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who collaborated with Ranveer on Gully Boy and Dil Dhadakne Do, posted an unseen picture of the two together and wrote, “Happy Birthday, My Happy-Maker Friend. More joy to you, knowing how generously you share it.”
Marking the special day, Ranveer surprised his fans by dropping the first look of his upcoming film Dhurandhar. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, and is slated for a December 5 release in theaters.
