The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that the badly decomposed body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas was found inside a Tesla that belonged to up-and-coming music star D4vd (real name: David Anthony Burke).
Found at the Hollywood Tow Yard
Earlier this month, workers at a Hollywood tow yard noticed a distinct smell coming from the Tesla that had been towed. When they looked inside, they found Rivas’ body. Officials stated the body had been in the car for a long time.
The Medical Examiner’s Office said in a statement, “It looks like she had been dead in the car for a long time before being found.”
The inquiry is still going on, and the cause of death has not yet been found.
Rivas Went Missing in 2024
Celeste Rivas’s family said she was missing in May 2024, when she was 13 years old. She was from Lake Elsinore, California.
The Daily Mail says that D4vd was in a relationship with Rivas when she was underage.
D4vd’s Legal Situation
D4vd has not been arrested or charged yet. His representatives said he is working with the police in every way possible.
The 24-year-old singer canceled the rest of his Withered World Tour dates after the finding, but he has not made a public statement.
There are no reports of D4vd admitting to anything to the police, in court, or in any other formal setting. The remains are still being looked at by forensic experts.
Music Video Comes Back
A music video called “One More Dance” by D4vd that came out on February 7, 2025, has come back online during the investigation. In it, the artist seems blindfolded and covered in blood as he drags a body with two other people before putting it in the trunk of a car. Fans and investigators are now looking closely at this image.
