BJP MP Yogender Chandolia Calls AAP’s Amanatullah Khan ‘100% Criminal’

New Delhi [India], January 24: BJP MP Yogender Chandolia has strongly criticized AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan after reports emerged that his son allegedly misbehaved with Delhi Police officers and was involved in rash driving. Following the incident in Okhla, Chandolia stated that people like Khan are “100 per cent criminals” and expressed support for the police’s decision to seize his son’s vehicle.

Chandolia emphasized the dangers of rash driving, describing it as potentially fatal and applauding the police for taking action. “It was good that the police seized his son’s vehicle. Rash driving can prove fatal, and a case should be filed against him. These people think that Delhi is their father’s property,” he told.

The BJP MP also turned his criticism toward AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, alleging that his government had failed to clean the Yamuna in the past decade. “If their government did not get time to clean the Yamuna in 10 years, then it will never get the time,” Chandolia said. He also urged social activist Anna Hazare to dissociate from Kejriwal, calling him an “anti-national anarchist” who had “destroyed” Delhi instead of developing it.

Earlier, Delhi Police registered cases against two individuals who were riding a motorcycle with a modified silencer and driving erratically in Okhla. One of them identified himself as Amanatullah Khan’s son, claiming the police were targeting him because of his father’s political position. The two men refused to provide their driving licenses or identification and left the scene after making a phone call to Khan, who spoke with the Station House Officer (SHO).

The police issued a challan and impounded the bike for violations of the Motor Vehicle Act. The incident occurred during a security patrol in Okhla ahead of Republic Day.

Delhi’s assembly elections are scheduled for February 5, with votes set to be counted on February 8.
