BJP MLA-Elect Ravinder Singh Negi Accuses Manish Sisodia Of Stealing Furniture And Items From Government Office

New Delhi [India], February 18: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA-elect Ravinder Singh Negi has accused former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia of “stealing” government property, including furniture, sound systems, air conditioners, and more from the office previously allotted to him.

Negi claimed that Sisodia left the office in a “barren state,” with several items, including 250 chairs, TVs, sofas, tables, and AC units, missing. Negi further added that the former Deputy CM even took the doors and adjusted fans, pointing out that these were all government assets, and it was Sisodia’s responsibility to leave them behind.

“Thievery is in your blood. Just like you indulged in corruption in the liquor scam, you stole from here too,” Negi said. He also compared Sisodia’s actions to that of Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, who reportedly campaigned for Sisodia, calling him a “tap thief.”

Negi explained that the office had been handed over by the Public Works Department (PWD) to Sisodia, who worked there for 12 years. The various items in the office were provided by different government departments, and according to Negi, it was Sisodia’s duty to ensure that everything was left intact.

Additionally, Negi accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of misusing government resources, claiming that the office was used for electoral purposes during the election season. He criticized AAP for not adhering to constitutional norms and disregarding complaints raised about the office’s use during the election.
