BJP Launches ‘Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan’ To Celebrate 75 Years Of Indian Constitution

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India]: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the launch of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) 15-day campaign, ‘Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan,’ to honor 75 years of the Indian Constitution. The campaign will run from January 11 to January 25 across the state, featuring a variety of events and programs aimed at raising public awareness about the Constitution.

Speaking to media, CM Yadav said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a tradition of celebrating Constitution Day since 2015. I am happy that the BJP is starting a 15-day ‘Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan’ from January 11 to January 25. Under the campaign, there will be different discussions and speeches regarding the Constitution to make people aware. Essay writing competitions will also be held in schools. It is a wonderful decision to observe this public awareness campaign.”

The Chief Minister extended his gratitude to BJP national president JP Nadda and PM Modi for focusing the nation’s attention on the significance of the Constitution. He appealed to citizens to join the campaign and embrace the values enshrined within the Constitution.

“I would like to congratulate BJP chief JP Nadda and PM Modi who have directed the attention of the entire nation towards the Constitution of India. Let us all understand the sentiments within the Constitution and respect its spirit. Let’s resolve to celebrate how the world’s largest democracy functions through its Constitution,” CM Yadav added.

In a post on X, CM Yadav wrote, “Remembering the 75 years of the journey of the Indian Constitution, the BJP will organize ‘Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan.’ Various programs will be organized under the event from January 11 to 25.”

Congress Announces “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Abhiyan”

In response, the Congress party has announced its campaign, “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan Abhiyan,” set to commence with a rally on January 27 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, the birthplace of Dr. BR Ambedkar.

The contrasting campaigns by the BJP and Congress underline the importance of the Constitution in India’s political discourse, with both parties striving to highlight its role in shaping the world’s largest democracy.
