As MLC and local body elections in Telangana approach, BJP leader NV Subhash has asserted that the BJP is the front-runner, claiming that the party is fully prepared compared to other political contenders.
BJP Ready for Elections
🔹 “We announced the MLC candidates before the notification was even issued. This, along with our review meetings, shows that BJP is far ahead of other parties in preparation,” said NV Subhash.
🔹 The MLC elections in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will take place on February 27, with counting scheduled for March 3.
BJP Attacks Congress & BRS Over Governance Failures
NV Subhash launched a scathing attack on the Telangana government, accusing it of financial mismanagement and failure to deliver on election promises.
🔹 He pointed to Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar’s statement that the government lacks financial resources to implement its pre-election schemes.
🔹 “The schemes announced before the elections have completely failed. The BRS party left Telangana in a severe financial crisis, and now Congress is making excuses to cut down beneficiaries.”
🔹 He also accused the Congress-led state government of failing to conduct proper financial assessments before launching welfare programs.

BJP Eyes Key Electoral Gains
With BRS struggling post-defeat and Congress facing governance challenges, the BJP sees an opportunity to consolidate its position in Telangana’s local bodies and legislative council.
Will BJP’s aggressive push pay off? Or will Congress and BRS regain lost ground? The MLC elections will be a major test ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
