New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) On Thursday, released its list of star campaigners for the first phase of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections 2025. The list includes some of the party’s most important national and regional leaders, such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Party President JP Nadda.
Other well-known people on the 40-member list are Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Dharmendra Pradhan, Smriti Irani, and Giriraj Singh, as well as Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), and Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh).
The important Bihar Assembly elections will happen in two parts: the first on November 6 and the second on November 11. The Election Commission of India says that the votes would be counted on November 14.
The BJP made the declaration the day after the party announced its third and final list of 18 candidates, bringing the total number of candidates running in the 2019 assembly elections to 101. The JD(U), which is led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, will also run candidates in 101 constituencies. The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), led by Chirag Paswan, will get 29 seats as part of the NDA’s seat-sharing deal.
The saffron party’s star campaigners show that they want to use both national and regional appeal to get more support from voters across the state.

The party’s choice of well-known Bhojpuri actors and politicians like Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, and Dinesh Lal Yadav “Nirahua” shows that they want to use Bihar’s strong film and cultural ties to connect with regular voters.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is currently in charge of Bihar’s administration. He left the RJD-Congress-led Mahagathbandhan in 2024 and rejoined the NDA. The BJP-JD(U) alliance and the RJD-led opposition group see the impending election as a big test. The state is getting ready for a very heated political battle.
