Voter List Status and Correction Window
CEC Kumar confirmed that the final voter list, which officially includes over 7.24 crore registered voters, was officially published on September 30.
Crucially, he assured the public that the window for eligible citizens to be added to the electoral roll remains open. Voters can still get their names added to the list until 10 days before the nomination date for the elections.
Furthermore, in a move to ensure accuracy, the CEC added that in the event of any discrepancy or “lapse” found in the final voter list, an appeal can be officially filed with the District Magistrate.
