Bihar Civil Services Incentive Scheme: WCDC Invites Applications For ₹50,000 One-Time Benefit

The Women and Child Development Corporation (WCDC), operating under Bihar’s Social Welfare Department, has opened online applications for the Civil Services Incentive Scheme for women candidates who have cleared the BPSC 71st Preliminary Examination. The scheme aims to support aspirants from the General, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Backward Class categories who are permanent residents of Bihar.

₹50,000 One-Time Incentive

Under this government initiative, eligible applicants will receive a one-time incentive of ₹50,000.
Women interested in availing the benefit must submit their applications through the official WCDC portal:
wcdc.bihar.gov.in/Careers

The last date to apply is December 31, 2025.
Applications submitted after the deadline or through any mode other than the official website will be rejected.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Civil Services Incentive Scheme, applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Must be a permanent resident of Bihar.
  • Must belong to the General, EWS or Backward Class categories.
  • Must have qualified the 71st Joint (Preliminary) Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
  • Not eligible: Women from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Extremely Backward Class (EBC) categories.
  • The incentive can be availed only once.
  • Women employed in any government department, PSU or state-funded institution are not eligible.

Application Process: Documents Required

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Recent photograph
  • Signature
  • Self-attested BPSC admit card
  • Caste certificate (only for Backward Class applicants)
  • Aadhaar card
  • Residential certificate
  • Bank passbook or cancelled cheque showing account number and IFSC code

The Aadhaar number must be seeded (not just linked) with the bank account to enable Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Applications with unseeded Aadhaar will not be processed for payment.

Mandatory Affidavit

Candidates must also upload an affidavit issued by a First Class Judicial Magistrate or Executive Magistrate confirming that:

  • They are not employed in any government-funded institution.
  • They have not received similar benefits previously.

Important Instructions for Applicants

A valid email ID is compulsory, as all communication from WCDC will be sent via email.
Candidates must ensure that all details entered in the application form are accurate and verifiable. Any false information may lead to recovery of funds and legal action.
