Bihar Board Matric Exams Begin

Gardanibagh (Bihar): The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) class 10 Matric final examinations began on Monday, with Hindi being the first subject on the schedule. The exams will continue until February 25.

The exams are conducted in two shifts:

  • First Shift: 9:30 am to 12:45 pm
  • Second Shift: 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm

Entry into the examination center is permitted only until 9:00 am for the first shift, and for the second shift, entry is allowed between 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. Students queued up at the Kamla Nehru Higher School Examination Centre in Gardanibagh, eager to start their exams.

CBSE Board Exams Also Underway

On a similar note, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) began its Class 10 and 12 board exams on February 15. The exams started with English for Class 10 and Entrepreneurship for Class 12. A total of 23.86 lakh students from 7,780 centers appeared for the Class 10 exams, and around 23,000 students sat for the Class 12 exams across 995 centers.

Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examinations for CBSE, emphasized the smooth organization of the exams and hoped that students were able to take their exams with enthusiasm and in a positive environment. With over 42 lakh students from more than 30,000 schools across 7,842 centers in India and 26 countries, CBSE has ensured strict protocols and security measures to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
