Bigger and Better’: Hrithik Roshan Hails Farhan Akhtar’s War Drama 120 Bahadur

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan recently took to social media to send heartfelt congratulations and support to his close friend and frequent collaborator, Farhan Akhtar, for his highly anticipated upcoming war drama, 120 Bahadur.

Roshan specifically praised Farhan and co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani for their continuous drive to push boundaries and conquer new creative peaks in their careers.

Hrithik wrote: “Farhan & Ritesh… my buoys, pushing your limits and conquering new peaks is what I have watched you both relentlessly do for so many years now.”

A Legacy of Professional Bond

Reflecting on their shared professional history, the War actor fondly recalled the commitment that went into Farhan’s 2004 directorial, Lakshya, in which Hrithik starred. He indicated that 120 Bahadur promises to surpass even that effort.

“I remember the vigor and toil that went into Lakshya, but the passion I see in 120 Bahadur promises something even bigger and better in every way,” Hrithik stated.

He concluded his message by sending his best wishes to the entire team, including the cast and director Razneesh, and expressed his excitement for the film’s release on November 21.

Farhan Responds to the ‘Big, Big Hug’

Farhan Akhtar quickly responded to the emotional post with warmth, writing: “Hrithikkkkk … thank you; this means so much. Can’t wait for you to see the film… big, big hug, man.”

The post also received support from actress Raashii Khanna, who stars in 120 Bahadur, and Farhan’s sister and filmmaker, Zoya Akhtar, who added heart emojis.

Beyond their close personal friendship, Hrithik and Farhan share a strong professional bond established over several projects. Farhan directed Hrithik in Lakshya, and they both appeared in Zoya Akhtar’s debut, Luck By Chance, before starring together in the hugely successful 2011 road trip film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, alongside Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin.

About 120 Bahadur

The forthcoming war drama is based on the inspiring and courageous true story of the 120 soldiers who fought valiantly at Rezang La during the 1962 Indo-China war.

Produced by Excel Entertainment, the film’s trailer has already gained considerable attention, with superstar Salman Khan reportedly praising Farhan Akhtar’s performance. The movie aims to powerfully depict themes of courage, patriotism, and the resilience of the human spirit. Hrithik’s recent heartfelt endorsement has only served to amplify the anticipation surrounding its November 21 release.
