Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: The latest episode of Bigg Boss 18 saw an intense moment during the Weekend Ka Vaar segment, where Salman Khan intervened in a heated argument between contestants Avinash Mishra and Chahat Pandey.
The conflict erupted during a task called “Kick the Side Kick,” when Avinash called Chahat “gawaar” (uneducated), sparking debates online. In a promo shared by the makers on Sunday, Avinash and Digvijay Rathee are seen standing in front of large slippers as part of the task. Chahat commented on Avinash’s behavior, saying, “Avinash se Vivian kahein bartan dhone, to wo chaat chaat ke dhoyenge (If Vivian asks Avinash to wash utensils, he’ll do it meticulously).”
Annoyed by her remark, Avinash retorted by calling her “gawaar,” prompting Chahat to retaliate by using the slipper in the task to hit him. She also criticized him for his comment.
Salman Khan stepped in, questioning Avinash’s choice of language. “Gawaar kya hai? What is this language? Ye kya badtameezi kar rahe ho?” he asked. Avinash responded, “Ye jo harkat kar rahi hai, ye padha likha insaan karega? (Will an educated person behave like this?).”
Bigg Boss 18 airs on Colors TV and streams on JioCinema.
On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming action film Sikandar, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, set for an Eid 2025 release.
