New Delhi (India), February 20: Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita welcomed Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay to India on Thursday, as he is set to participate as a keynote speaker in the School of Ultimate Leadership’s (SOUL) Leadership Conclave in the national capital.
The official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs shared the news on X, saying, “A warm welcome to PM Tshering Tobgay of Bhutan, as he arrives in India to participate in the School of Ultimate Leadership’s Leadership Conclave as Keynote speaker. Received by MoS Pabitra Margherita, his visit will further strengthen the unique & enduring ties of friendship & cooperation between India and Bhutan.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first edition of the SOUL Leadership Conclave on February 21 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The Prime Minister will also address the gathering, according to an official statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The two-day event, scheduled from February 21-22, will bring together leaders from diverse sectors such as politics, sports, arts, media, business, public policy, and the spiritual world. They will share their life journeys and engage in discussions on leadership, aiming to inspire and empower young audiences.
The SOUL Leadership Conclave intends to foster collaboration and thought leadership, allowing participants to learn from both successes and setbacks.
SOUL, based in Gujarat, is an upcoming leadership institution aimed at shaping authentic leaders who are committed to advancing the public good. The institution seeks to enhance political leadership in India by providing formal training to those who rise through merit and passion for public service, rather than political lineage.
The conclave’s focus is on equipping future leaders with insights, skills, and expertise needed to navigate the complexities of leadership in today’s world.
