Sanjay Dutt returns in a ghostbuster avatar while Mouni Roy channels her inner ‘Mohabbat’ in horror-comedy Bhootnii, releasing April 18, 2025
Mumbai, March 29: Bollywood is set to welcome a spine-chilling laugh riot as Sanjay Dutt gears up to take on ghosts in the upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhootnii’, directed by Sidhaant Sachdev. The much-awaited trailer dropped on Saturday, introducing fans to a quirky, spooky world filled with romance, mischief, and plenty of supernatural mayhem.
The film features an ensemble cast including Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Aasif Khan, and popular digital creator Beyounick.
In the trailer, Mouni Roy shines as a glamorous ghost named ‘Mohabbat’, cheekily referencing her iconic Naagin persona from TV. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt steals the spotlight with his rugged ghostbuster avatar, bringing his signature swag to this comedic twist on the paranormal.
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Palak Tiwari wrote,
“A piece of my heart is now yours. I hope yeh aapko hasaye, daraye, rulaye, ‘awwww’ bulawaye, aapke aur aapke parivar ko khush kare.”
The film is produced under the banner of Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Three Dimension Motion Pictures, by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, with Hunar Mukut and Maanayata Dutt serving as co-producers.
‘Bhootnii’ is slated for theatrical release on April 18, 2025.
Dutt’s Dark Turn in ‘Baaghi 4’
Apart from Bhootnii, Sanjay Dutt is also making waves with his fierce first look from the upcoming action drama ‘Baaghi 4’. In the poster, Dutt sits ominously on a gothic throne, holding a lifeless woman in a bloodied gown. With a haunting tagline “Every Aashiq is a Villain”, the image hints at a dark and intense performance.
Directed by A Harsha in his Bollywood debut and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 hits theatres on September 5, 2025.
