Mumbai (Maharashtra), May 12: The buzz around Priyadarshan’s upcoming horror-comedy ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is growing, with actors giving fans sneak peeks into the behind-the-scenes fun. Actor Jisshu U Sengupta recently shared a black-and-white selfie with co-star Akshay Kumar, captioned:
Earlier in January, actress Tabu also posted a cheerful selfie from her vanity van, signaling the wrap-up of a shoot schedule.

Directed by Priyadarshan, known for his cult comedy classics, Bhoot Bangla marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after more than a decade. The duo previously worked together on hits like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and De Dana Dan.
The ensemble cast also includes Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Notably, the film brings back Akshay and Tabu on screen together after 25 years—their last collaboration being Hera Pheri.
Produced by Balaji Telefilms (Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor) and Cape of Good Films (Akshay Kumar’s banner), Bhoot Bangla is slated for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.
