Global pop sensation Beyoncé made a stunning appearance at her Cowboy Carter Tour stop in Paris, wearing a dazzling custom-made outfit by renowned Indian designer Manish Malhotra. The performance took place at the Stade de France, where Beyoncé took the stage in a black bodysuit embellished with over 10,000 Swarovski crystals.
The outfit, featuring hand-embroidered sequins and metallic waist accents, perfectly aligned with the tour’s glamorous Western theme. This marked a significant global fashion moment for Manish Malhotra, showcasing his craftsmanship to an international audience.
Manish Malhotra shared his excitement on Instagram by posting several videos from the event, highlighting the powerful stage presence of Beyoncé in his design.

By examining his impact, students will explore how regional sounds shape global pop culture, mobilize diasporic communities and contribute to sustainable creative economies rooted in authenticity,” said Dr. Charlie Wall-Andrews, Assistant Professor at The Creative School, Toronto Metropolitan University.

It stands for cultural pride, creative freedom and global representation for Punjabi and South Asian communities. Seeing his impact formally recognized in an academic space is not only powerful; it’s long overdue. Diljit is shifting the entire music industry, one milestone at a time,” said Sonali Singh, CEO of Ripple Effects.
Also making headlines during the Paris concert was Jay-Z, who made a surprise appearance on stage for a powerful duet of Crazy in Love with Beyoncé. Dressed in an all-black hoodie and relaxed-fit pants, Jay-Z’s minimalistic look allowed Beyoncé’s sparkling outfit to stand out even more. The couple’s chemistry lit up the stadium, sending fans into a frenzy.
This event came shortly after Manish Malhotra’s praised Met Gala 2025 debut. His outfit—a sherwani-inspired black cape with gold threadwork and high jewellery accents—celebrated traditional Indian couture blended with modern style.
