In a stunning twist during the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode, reports have confirmed that reality star Baseer Ali and contestant Nehal Chudasama have been eliminated in a planned double eviction from the Bigg Boss 19 house.
The news comes as a major shock to viewers, especially the fan base of Baseer Ali, who was considered one of the stronger contenders this season. The duo was nominated alongside Pranit More and Gaurav Khanna this week. Though earlier speculations suggested one of the evicted contestants might be sent to the secret room, sources close to the production indicate a last-minute decision led to the permanent exit of both Baseer and Nehal.
Fan Outcry and Speculation
The eviction of Baseer Ali, particularly, has ignited a firestorm of reactions on social media. Fans quickly took to platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to express their outrage, trending the hashtag #UNFAIREVICTIONBASEER and accusing the makers of a biased decision.
“Baseer was ruined by Amaal and Nehal. He was one of the stronger ones in the beginning,” one user commented, pointing to the recent drama surrounding the contestants’ groups and budding ‘love angle.’ Another fan wrote, “He deserved to stay at least in the top 3,” while a third opined, “Baseer really deserved to be in the top 5.” Many users claimed the eviction was planned to favour other contestants in the race for the finale.
Nehal Chudasama’s second exit from the house—she was previously sent to a secret room after the first eviction—has been met with less surprise by the housemates.
Mother Calls ‘Love Angle’ a Game Strategy
Adding fuel to the fire, Baseer Ali’s mother, Afshan Khan, recently weighed in on her son’s closeness with Nehal Chudasama, dismissing any notions of a genuine romance.
In an interview with Viral Bhayani, Khan stated that Baseer and Nehal are merely “gym friends” who had met a couple of times outside the house. She went on to call the much-discussed ‘love angle’ a clear part of Nehal’s gameplay.
“Baseer is a very good friend, and all the fights with Farrhana were planned by Nehal. Baseer has no idea about it,” Afshan Khan claimed. Expressing her distress, she added, “I’m very upset and feel bad for Baseer. People are taking undue advantage of his innocence… from a game point of view, it’s not good for him to be with anyone, not even Nehal.”
The shocking double elimination and the controversy surrounding Baseer’s in-house relationships are set to dramatically reshape the dynamics of the Bigg Boss 19 house.
