A modest, handwritten note on a Starbucks cup has caught the attention of thousands on X (previously Twitter), giving Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, an unexpected honor.
Andrew Kolvet, who works with Charlie Kirk and is the executive producer of The Charlie Kirk Show, sent a picture of a coffee cup with a note that honored Kirk. “Someone placed the Charlie order today, and the barista wrote this note in his honor,” Kolvet stated in the post. The cup had a note on it that seemed like it was written by the barista: “Don’t lose your voice.”
How Social Media Responded to the Viral Message
Many people on X responded to the simple yet effective statement with hundreds of passionate and supportive responses.
One person thought about how important it is to be able to say what you want, stating, “No sort of censorship should ever be allowed… To make society stronger and more open, true freedom involves preserving all voices. “Let’s fight hard for free speech!”
It was evident that the comments had an emotional effect. One individual even asked, “Am I crying over a Starbucks cup?” “I think I might be,” someone else said, “Sometimes the smallest notes carry the loudest reminders.” A few good words and a kind heart may keep courage alive.
Many others were surprised and grateful for what the barista did. One person said, “The best part is that it was written by a barista!”
Andrew Kolvet stands up for Kirk’s life and legacy.
Andrew Kolvet has been making a lot of noise in the media to remember and protect Charlie Kirk since Tyler Robinson killed him in a horrible way. The viral post is the latest in a long line of these attempts. Kolvet has used his position to fight back against opponents and media coverage of the former conservative activist’s life and memorial.
Defending the Service of Memory
Kolvet recently defended the option to have fireworks at Kirk’s memorial service, a choice that some people questioned in public. Kolvet stated in response to a post that questioned the usage of fireworks, “Because our staff loves the effect.” They think of it as one of our event’s trademarks. And most significantly, Charlie liked it.
He framed the option as a method to remember, saying, “We don’t grieve the way the world does.” We won’t let the evil that killed Charlie take away our happiness in honoring his amazing life and legacy.
Fight with Jimmy Kimmel
Kolvet also talked on the incident involving Jimmy Kimmel, a late-night host who was momentarily suspended from ABC for making fun of Kirk. Kolvet criticized Kimmel, saying that the comedian’s statements on Kirk’s assassination were an implicit endorsement of violence against conservatives.
Kolvet said that Kimmel was “spreading the vile lie that MAGA killed Charlie,” and he said that the message was clear: “If you kill a conservative, we will cover for you.” We will cover up the murder because we don’t think conservatives should survive. More deaths. Kill more people. “We’ve got your back.”
The Starbucks letter is a viral reminder for Kirk’s fans to keep working for him even if there is still a lot of controversy and media attention on his death.
