The wait is finally over. On Sunday, the first look at Aryan Khan’s first movie as a filmmaker, a Netflix series called Ba*ds of Bollywood, was unveiled. It confirms that celebrity father Shah Rukh Khan would make an appearance. The one-and-a-half-minute preview, which gives a strange and grim look at how the Hindi film industry works, has gone viral on social media.
The teaser starts with a bunch of strange and chaotic scenes that give a clue of the show’s strange characters. The title is written as BoB, and the story is said to be about the journeys of those who want to be in the industry and have big dreams.
Shah Rukh Khan has already said he would be in his son’s first movie during his “Ask SRK” session on X on Saturday. “Many wonderful people from the industry have been in Aryan’s series… Main toh hun hi… He wrote, “Haq se!”
The first look shows more, with Shah Rukh Khan wearing a bandage on his head and a voiceover saying, “There are so many aes in this industry, but I think the biggest ae is the director.” The preview also says that Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Karan Johar will all make cameos, showing that the cast is full with stars.
Shah Rukh Khan wrote on X, “It’s very good,” when asked for a “honest review” of his son’s work. You all see and choose, but it’s a lot of fun, strange, and emotional. The trailer lives up to what it said it would be, promising a new look at the movie business.
Red Chillies Entertainment made Ba*ds of Bollywood, which was written and directed by Aryan Khan with help from co-creators Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. The show will be available to view on Netflix, and the release date is “Coming Soon.”
